Computer Graphics and Visualization

Computer Graphics and Visualization Research Group has been setup by Dr. Muhammad Mobeen Movania to explore cross discipline graphics research and development. The areas of research include GPU based methods of visualization, GPU based volume rendering, GPU path and raytracing, soft body dynamics. In addition, we are also looking into how GPU could be used for Gene Sequence Analysis. Most of the content is based on the OpenGL API. We are also exploring specialized areas like OpenGL ES 3.0 and WebGL to find how we can use these new standards to program smart phones and tablets.

We have been awarded the GPU Education Center award by NVIDIA.
